Who is the Education Minister of India? Mr. Prakash Javadekar is the current HRD (Human resource Development formerly education ministry) Education Minister of India. The education ministry is today called the Ministry of Human Resource Development which is completely responsible for the improvement and Development of human resources in India. The Ministry is classified into two departments: the Department of School Education and Literacy, which aims to deal with a primary, secondary and higher secondary education, literacy, and adult education and the Department of Higher Education dealing with a university education, technical education, scholarship program etc.
